Learn more about this volunteer opportunity

The Tall Ships Canada Youth Crew:

The Tall Ships Canada Youth Crew (youth council) is a group of youth aged 16-29 made up of current crew and alumni of tall ship programs from across Canada. As youth who have experienced the benefits of sail training first-hand, we are dedicated to the development and promotion of sail training in the country. We work with Tall ShipsCAN to ensure that youth have a say in the future of Canadian sail training!

Our Objectives:

  • To be a voice for youth engaged in tall ship sailing in Canada and those who are interested in joining.
  • To provide resources for Canadian youth in sail training, whether they are interested in sailing for the first time, looking to further their maritime careers, or anything in between.
  • To connect and engage young tall ship sailors from across the country.

How to Get Involved:

If you are a crew member or alumni between the ages of 16-29 and you have ideas about sail training in Canada or you would like to be a part of the youth council (or just have ideas to send our way!) contact us via email or through any of our social media!
